About Paige
Buy the Room, LLC is a small design and décor/staging firm specializing in budget-based decorating projects provided by not your typical "by the hour" designer. The concept emphasizes two major strategies: working with budgets at each end of the economic spectrum and working on projects with rates based "by the room" not "by the hour." The mission is to provide viable design options for people who want their home or office to be professionally decorated but are budget conscious.
Economically friendly designs can be accomplished without sacrificing beauty, comfort, convenience or the environment. Paige believes that with all projects you have to bring a piece of the outside indoors. She believes in working with natural outside elements from branches to driftwood, rocks or water.
Before launching her business in 2008, Paige designed and decorated homes for friends and family while working full-time in her former career. Originally from Sweetwater, Tennessee, she was inspired and mentored by her late uncle, James M. Cleveland, a successful Yale architecture and design graduate. Mr. Cleveland was owner of Cleveland's Incorporated (later Cleveland-Smith Interiors) in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was well respected in Knoxville and surrounding areas for his keen eye for design and architecture.
Paige has a master of science degree from the University of Tennessee and was employed in the healthcare arena where she worked with occupational health issues, federal grant writing, medical research and pharmaceuticals. Paige resides in Knoxville with her husband Bo and their four children, Rylie, Allie, Cameron and Hannah Claire. She loves traveling the world capturing ideas and influences at each destination to bring home for her designs.

Buy the Room is a solution driven decorating and design firm. And it's our approach to work with you to blend new items in your home with existing pieces. Designs start with your budget in mind. Our rates are based "by the room" not "by the hour." We specialize in budget-based decorating projects provided by not your typical "by the hour" paid designer to put forward a trusting and respectful relationship.
Sustainable
Sustainable interior design creates functional spaces with environmental awareness. It relates a home to its place. It encourages longevity. The goal when searching for reliable, state-of-the-art sustainable materials shouldn't be a frustrating scavenger hunt around the internet. There are sights that empower you. As an environmentally and socially responsible company, we encourage clients to select items when possible that have low impact on our environment and on energy used within your home.
Sustainability means your home is easy to maintain, fits the lifestyle of the homeowner, and aims at achieving net-zero impact. It allows for change within the inhabitant's lifespan and connects the interior space with the outdoors.
