De-Clutter & Organization
This 1990's built home was in need of several updates but before getting started a few things had to take place. We started by working with the family to de-clutter three main rooms in the home. After the de-cluttering, organizing and re-design plan, the family along with BTR had a large garage sale to offset some of the cost. We were also able to remove and purge many of the unnecessary items. The family donated many items to their favorite charity.
The family room got a face lift with a new sectional, based on an affinity and earth tone color scheme. BTR paired the sectional with a black media stand and end tables to compliment the affinity scheme. Organic fabrics were used to coordinate the rust colored sectional with the rest of the décor by using the homeowner's love of fall leaves as the inspiration. Completing the look with latte colored paint on the walls for warmth and beauty, the family living area was ready to occupy.
The former formal living room, after a thorough de-clutter and re-organization, became the home of the new formal dining room. We added a chair rail and window box wainscoting with brick-toned color on the upper half of all four walls. By using the homeowner's fireside cherry hardwood dining room furniture and heirloom art, we were able to create a timeless dining area for the family to enjoy for years to come.
The last space created was the Arts& Crafts room (formerly the dining room). The Arts & Crafts room is separated from the dining room by steam white French doors to create an area that can be opened for large family gatherings or closed while scrapbooking or working with the family's treasured coin collection.
